A scratch team was fielded against a depleated Oxford side, but like always a strong performance was displayed by both teams with an eye on a great start to the season.......

As speculation rings out in pre season about a collaps of the hearts i was very lucky with some great tallent coming to the club and only eleven players to choose from i was very fortunate to come away from the game with such a good result.

we were a little rusty to begin with but some good football was played and the pick of the goals was crafted by 4 players for Taylor to finish....

as an oxford player , hearts were excellent at keeping ball and attacking with pace. strong as a unit defensivley with the mid field protecting the back 4. we have lost a number of players but still have a few good players , we are hoping for mid table finish . if hearts add to there squad ill tip them for another title

What is the reason behind the skeletol squad on Saturday, will you be struggling for players or was it just this week?

why dont noone want to play for hears then? it seems silly the double winners struggling to get a side. everyone should want to play for you!

i think its because i clash with some people.... not the best man manager.... so the team suffers because of it..... but im confident we will be ok in the end..... aim for a mid table finish and a good cup run .....
