wrentham started very bright and took a 2 goal lead in first 5 mins threw a good header from newrick and a rocket from holland , this woke up hearts and they got on top and started to play there football . gowing headed in and bell poked home mickis free kick to make scores level at break , but having hit bar and having shots saved and 1 cleared of line heats new it was a matter of time before they took lead.
second half started with hearts continuing to dominate the game and it wasnt long before gowings class flick put jonny in to ram home the third , jonny got fourth when using his strengh against tomo and drilling in back of net . wrentham pushed back now and from a free kick tomo looped a header in for 4-3. 5 mins later trindall tapped home fifth and fisher nodded home sixth , this made the game over and people were losing there heads , gowing then finished the seventh before ant fields finally got his goal he deserved for hearts last . wrentham scored last threw dale gowing but for 70 mins hearts looked stronger and hungrier and fully deserved there win , with big richard last , gareth wright , joe parr to come into squad hearts look on course to fight to retain the title. the game was marred by silly sendings off for shippo and taylor
