I spoke to micki on tuesday and he laughed when i suggested he might leave, what possible reason would he have to leave, he won't travel due to family commitments so he is currently at the best team he can be, he has been an integral part of all of our trophy successes and is one of a very few players in this league who could virtually win a game on his own, who could offer him the same kind of success that we do?? and without wishing to offend mick he loves the attention he gets and thrives on winning things, which he has done consistently for 5 0r 6 years and will probably continue to do with us till he decides to call it a day, if he leaves I would be astounded

that was well put, if he was to leave how would it leave hearts for midfielders then ? surely barry cant do mickis job or would you choose a different formation? micki would make norton even stronger and could tilt title towards them. i think he should take up a new challenge

if you know mick then you would know all the challenge he needs is to win games, win trophies and then tell everyone about it, from what i've heard the players hearts are getting in next year will improve the side in a big way with one ex lowestoft, kirkley and yarmouth player already secured and a few more on the way they will be much stronger than last season. Mick would be missed but no one is irreplaceable and it is not a lack of ability in the norton side that see's them finish just short they are just too nice a bunch of lads not one of them has a nasty bone in their body

So chompy is one signing, if you say there is a few more ex kirkley etc to sign where does that leave last years squad or will these players be used for want of a better word as 'ringers' in big games

who are the ex lowestoft and kirkley players you have heard are joining them? i think all the hearts players show off what they achieve, but they have that arrogance due to what they win!

what about the players leaving hearts? norton are a nice bunch of lads, but until last season they for 2 seasons had matched hearts trophy cabinet so there cant be much in the sides now.....

boss in his reply starts the arrogance " why would he go to norton , now really " , arrogance or confidence? would like to see hearts finish without a trophy to see how they talk and react then!

i will be staying where i am , i have enjoyed 5 very successful seasons with hearts and will give everything i have in what will be my final season to remain at the top of the tree!
norton are a very good young side who im sure will be close to winning trophys again , but the lure of playing with the my mates is where my heart is, also dont fancy being beat up by bobby and john then wiped out by bell hahah

Surely Micki going to Norton would have been like ronaldo goin to chelsea, it was never gonna happen, but a bold move by norton who are showing some ambition to try to pull this one off. Any other good rumours, Dale Gowing has confimed that he is leaving Wrentham on their website, rumours of Shippo quitting too, although I do hear he is due to be a father for the first time so this would be understandable and congratulations to shippo and his mrs. Any Hearts players confirmed as leaving????

congratulations shippo if the rumours are true, am looking forward to turning up on a sunday again soon ! will wrentham have a side? shippo, stuy then gowing and renners turned them round and they did finish season well if they dont play who will go to them? norton im sure will get some ex loddon or beccles players but they seem like a settled team and dont make drastic changes, hearts will be strong again and hoping to add younger legs for the oldies to mould into champions

i have a very good unknown player who is playing for hearts next season , he is quick , aggressive has a great football brain and rarely wastes the ball .... if i give you a name bobby will fill me in

Lets just say I hear a lot of rumours about who's going where in my job also heard one of my colleagues is considering an offer to join you, he would be a good signing if you can pull it off, although i think his heart is still at kirkley. I have heard about approaches to a few others who personally I don't think would be good enough
