won 2 v 1 , massively depleted side put in a solid hard working performance ... jonny 1 snod 1 , should of been 10 but with rivals slipping up proves a big 3 points...... bobby and sam sheppherd both played first full games for hearts and both delivered good performances

3 points is 3 points does it matter how many you win by as long as you rack up the points? We could've won 22-1 and you would've said it was only sole bay they are a credit to there club and fought hard saturday. Same as pot black battered norton and rather than well done pb its a depleted norton side we'll just keep going and see what happens come the end of the season and no doubt if we win it again it'll probably be a poor standard league like every other year we've heard it all before so rather than slag us off why not give our opposition some credit

to be fair norton were missing a few of players on sat, but most of the players listed as missing on there report have not been playing every week either. the manager hudson, had to play 90 mins as they travelled with the bare eleven. they just had an off day as we did last week.

Bell,

Have yo actually read the Norton report? Quotes from it read "Norton just didn't seem up for the battle and were constantly terrorized by the PB forward who helped himself to a 5 goal haul which consisted of some lovely finishes."

and "All in all it was a poor performance by Norton and a very good one by PB."

Admittidley the scribe did say Norton were missing a few regulars as this was a fact however we did also praise the opponents did we not!

Boyd3 - come on mate you know that Nick Persich, Ric Hudson, Danny Hoadley, Steven Hak and Keving Briers have all been regular players for us.

Anyway it all proves that you have to be at your best each and every week and currently the only team achieving that are the champs. Who would have thought that we would beat Waveny by 4 goals, Waveney would then beat Pot Black by 4 goals and then PB beat us by 4 goals. All it does it level if out and give the assendency to any team showing consistency which currently only Hearts are doing.

Finally who also would have predicted that Magpies would be doing so well and Spexhall would be bottom? Exactly - just goes to prove the above point.

Good luck all.

no mate i didn't read it i only read the league report which stated "pot black recorded an impressive 5-1 win over a depleted norton side", what is impressive about beating a depleted side, seems to take a little gloss off their victory thats all and I was just using this as an example and didn't mean to make any sort of accusation towards you or your club sorry if it offended, bell

Looking at norton's site most of the 'missing' players have hardly been regular starters, in hak's case he hasn't played at all, also isn't the point of having a reserve side to feed the first team and have players come in when theres injuries etc as was the case at the weekend
